Tree Bark Candle
This is an easy and inexpensive way to build your own tree bark candle for autumn. All you need is:
a glass tealight holder
tree bark (I got mine from Depot)
hot glue (gun) or all-purpose adhesive
and a tealight, of course ;)
First, find out which pieces of bark look best and where.
Then glue them onto the glass. You might have to hold them in place until the glue has dried a bit or lay the glass onto its side so that the bark won't slide off.
Wait until the glue is completely dry until you turn the glass and continue.
With some flowers poking out between the pieces of bark, this candle doesn't only look pretty during the cold months, but would be a beautiful spring and summer decoration as well!
